The rock paintings of Nyero

These are the rock paintings at Nyero, near Kumi. Their age is unknown but they are suspected to have been created by ancestors of the present people of the region who emigrated from the north....

A goat standing in front of one of the main painting sites.

A close-up of the same site.

Perhaps the finest painting!

Me in front of one of the painting sites.

Painting showing typical circle patterns, and (perhaps) a "boat".
